In the morning, I aint got a thing to do and in the evening I got no-where to go wake me up now, just try to find a reason one day hard work will be the only thing I know My daddy showed me, how to tend a sad heart didn't say nothing but I learnt it all the same keep your head down, work hard every season don't drink so much that you can't feel any pain Look at my life, and i don't know what it is It's a feeling, can't explain or deal with And if you don't know, what lies ahead for you Just take a deep breath, let it slide by, don't let it trouble you Tried to love you, I tried to be a good man tried too hard and I let every thing else go take the pieces, put them back together repetition is the only thing I know

Teenage Hell 03:21
Searching for some universal truth getting high up on my best friends roof wait for something cool to do watching the best years of our lives go by but its alright Beat this teenage hell To lift a lonely spell And I know the truth Jimmy's brother's got it made got a girlfriend and he's learnt his trade he'll be married late this year but I'm still living with my folks and I'm tired of all the jokes Have you got some good news for me When we were kids it seemed so clear go to school and get a good career facing the world on our own options are much more limited than we ever could have guessed

There's someone missing from my memories a life just out of reach inside my head Take to the ocean on an endless breeze every time I fall asleep I pull the thread Nervous excitement when I'm with you you're only a dream but it feels so true Waking up slowly, still holding on the picture is fading when it felt so strong Sleep walking nightly what a terrible scene I try to find the door and it's not there I keep on reaching its a waking dream my eyes are playing tricks on me

Honest 02:45
I have been honest with you too many times now I'm paying with the best years of my life a little mystery would keep you coming back for more I'm always open, a spoiler ruining the show A better liar I could be I'm building something bigger than me I'll take you places you've never been A better liar, well that aint me Keep them guessing, are they really from mars got no spiders and I can barely play guitar I'm over exposed to the bleeding heart within I took the mask off but it was only paper thin I'll never tire I'll just sink Forever closer to the brink So many places I've never been A better liar that aint me
5.
Just like the ocean drags me from the shore I'm powerless to stop you from running out my door such a commotion has not been heard for years and every single word you say confirms my very worst fears anyone could tell you I'm not the man you once knew anyone could tell you I've changed let me rot in my grave forget every single life I've saved tell the kids I was brave but I'm in the ground in the ground just the same At least take some money to get you through the week I gotta find a way to break this impressive losing streak in the twilight of my life I did not expect to find those things i worked so hard to build torn down before my eyes anyone could tell you it's not the things that you do its how everyone perceives you that's changed
